Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Monday

Sunset Sunday night as seen from my front porch.

After walking in the cold temperatures of the previous several mornings
today's temperature of 27 seemed almost balmy. 🌴 😀
It was cloudy but calm and the sun eventually did come out
later in the morning to give us three days of sun in a row.

Had a nice walk all around town and both the cemeteries and the
ball park as well.

I wasn't the only one out walking this morning, the man with the
little friendly dog was walking around the ball park the same time as me.

I think the house with the tree lined driveway has sold.
Saw lights on in the house and a car in the driveway and
the other day saw a U Haul there.
The for sale sign is still up so not sure.

Haven't seen any deer for a while now, not even out back at the house.

Walked 6 miles

Another puzzle completed.

Ken's play station died this morning and so he can no longer play
his Snow Runner game. 🙁

Finished cleaning out and organizing my craft closet.
Now if it would only stay that way!

Just the usual day around the house doing a bit of this and that.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your day was a happy one.

We all have exactly the same number of minutes in a day.
The question is, how will we use them?
Most people today are either too busy - or not busy enough.
The Bible tells us that both extremes are wrong.

I need to get outdoors! Being a shut in the last few days during the heavy rain is NOT healthy
Beautiful sky photos. Keep us informed about the tree lined hidden house.

I stopped by to see how much daylight has been added since dark December 21. Today was the first time I have noticed the gift of lengthening days. ☀️

My husband bought us tracks to put on the bottom of our boots so we can walk in the snow and ice. You post such lovely photos of your walks I can't wait til the weather is here is more conducive to walks.

That’s another gorgeous sunset! The sun is now setting here 19 minutes later than it did at winter’s beginning. On these cold days, I spend too much time warming in front of the fire.

Beautiful sunset photo.Today's sunrise too. Tomorrow the sun here will rise 1 minute before 8.
Walked in the rain this morning and tomorrow will be the same. Not too many people out.

Beautiful sunset! I really like that puzzle. 3 days of sunshine is a wonderful thing. We will be in Arizona for several days so I know we'll get a fair dose of sunshine. Looking forward to it. We haven't seen any deer on our property for a long time. Hope your Tuesday is going well.
