Walked outside this morning.
It was 31 degrees when I left the house, no wind, and once
the sun rose there were some periods when the sun broke through
the clouds but it didn't last long.
Still grateful for those times of sun while I walked.
Drove to town and walked around town where I could.
Was limited where I could walk because of the snow covered
sidewalks.
Couldn't get to the cemeteries or around the ball park.
Too much snow and ice.
The two streets that run parallel on either side of the main road
were good for walking so manly stayed around there.

Noticed all the icicles hanging at the library.
You probably don't want to walk under them!

As expected didn't see anyone else out early this morning.
Happy to say I managed to get all 6 miles walked.

We made a quick trip out to the Shop and Save to get some

Made a good start on the housework for this week.
We completed all three of the puzzles.
Bathroom, kitchen, and porch.

This puzzle has some really unusual pieces in it.
I've finished all the weave-it squares in the baby blanket already and
have begun sewing them together.

...wow, that first image is gorgeous!
Sure looks beautiful outside! I love the first pic too! Enjoy your evening and a well deserved bowl of ice cream! holiday hugs!
Lovely photos from the morning on your walk. What a fun puzzle to put together in three parts. Glad you could walk outside. The latest puzzle we put together had some strange pieces, too.
Those patches of blue sky make for a lovely picture. I really like the puzzles pictures, but with pieces like that it would not be easy.
All that snow ... makes me feel cold.
God bless, Happyone.
The icicles!
Hi Karen- The Isicles at the Library is amazing- haven't seen something like this before- must get very cold there. All the best to you Karen and Ken for CHRITMAS.
Those pieces of puzzle, out of the ordinary as they are, REALLY break up the "routine" of same ol' same ol'. Beautiful early morning image...from here, where it's warm.
I like your puzzles. That sure was a snowy walk. Glad you could get all six miles in. I also prefer to get my exercise outside in the fresh air. Our snow is all gone here, but we may get a we bit more tomorrow and then again on Christmas. We shall see. We need more snow here. Have a very nice Tuesday!
Lovely snowy pics! I'm really feeling the cold more this year for some reason. It's been chilly here in TN and will be only about 27 degrees on Christmas Day. I hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas!
As always, I am impressed by how you manage to get the 6 miles in despite the snow and ice obstacles.
How cool that your puzzle box contained 3 different rooms. I LOVE that kitchen. I would enjoy baking my Christmas cookies in there. It looks so warm and cozy.
Enjoy the pretty snow and if I don't get back here again before Friday, a very Merry Christmas to you and Ken.
Your first photo is a beauty, very nice winter scene.
You're quite productive with puzzles.
Great puzzles and some unique pieces. Walking outside is so much better than inside. In my case no basement so if it's slippery like today I can't go walking.
I like puzzles with different shaped pieces rather than ones that are all the same basic shape. The one I'm working on at present is a springbok brand puzzle and it has lots of different shapes. Nice heavy pieces. Not the most colorful puzzle (chocolate goodies) but for 25 cents it helped to pass the time. It will be donated back to the thrift shop when finished. Aren't puzzles fun? We gave our great grandson wooden puzzles for Cmas (he's 2) and each of the families got an adult puzzle depicting their interests.
The puzzle I am working on is a "killer". Making progress, however, and with every piece I get added to the picture I know it gets just a wee bit easier because I have fewer pieces to paw through. On this one, I have taken pictures of my progress - just to help with the idea I am making progress. haha
