Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another puzzle completed

Thought the sidewalks in town would be icy so had another
basement walk today.
2 miles before breakfast
2 after and
the last 2 mid afternoon for my 6 miles.

Our basement is a walkout with French doors and this is what the sky
looked like this morning from there.
The whole sky was pretty, this is the western sky!

Here's today's layout picture.

We went out to get milk and a few other essentials.
Had to get gas for the snow blower and stopped at the Dollar General and
finally got my Christmas cards bought.  Hopefully I'll get started writing them out tomorrow.  While we were out also got to look at the
sidewalks in town. Still snow covered but the streets are pretty
much cleared so tomorrow I'll be walking outside again.

The puzzle has been completed.
It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
Haven't started the third new one yet but I'm sure it won't be long.

Started sewing the weave-it squares together for the baby blanket.

The day has been mostly sunny but it did get cloudy at the end of the day.

Thanks for stopping by.
A happy Thursday to you.

is that they always remember the past better than it was,
the present worse than it is,
and the future less resolved than it will be.

I love the train layout picture today. It and the puzzle picture have some wonderful similarities. The yellow just pops out of both. That's a great little tree in the basket.

Exactly the kind of weather we had today. Mostly clear sky early this morning with very pretty cloud formations. Then in the afternoon clouds began to move in.
I'm amazed how quickly you got the latest puzzle done.

What a nice day you had. I now want a puzzle to put together. I guess you can find them online like everything else. I will get one for Christmas. An interesting quote.

Love that puzzle picture and Ken's display. Does his display get dusty? Do you have to dust all that stuff?
