Thought the sidewalks in town would be icy so had another
basement walk today.
2 miles before breakfast
2 after and
the last 2 mid afternoon for my 6 miles.
Our basement is a walkout with French doors and this is what the sky
looked like this morning from there.
The whole sky was pretty, this is the western sky!
Here's today's layout picture.
We went out to get milk and a few other essentials.
Had to get gas for the snow blower and stopped at the Dollar General and
finally got my Christmas cards bought. Hopefully I'll get started writing them out tomorrow. While we were out also got to look at the
sidewalks in town. Still snow covered but the streets are pretty
much cleared so tomorrow I'll be walking outside again.
The puzzle has been completed.
It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
Haven't started the third new one yet but I'm sure it won't be long.
Started sewing the weave-it squares together for the baby blanket.
The day has been mostly sunny but it did get cloudy at the end of the day.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy Thursday to you.

is that they always remember the past better than it was,
the present worse than it is,
and the future less resolved than it will be.

Love the train layout pictures. Keep walking in the basement so you get more pictures!
...what a morning sky. Beautiful details. Marcel Pagnol has a good handle on things.
That last quote is something to think about! I don't remember the past that way and it may be why I am so happy with my life today! heehee! Love seeing your decorations and the puzzle is beautiful! I love snowy scenes!
What a wonderful puzzle. So good you can walk in the basement and see such a sky. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
Beautiful morning photo! That's a great puzzle, too. We are just finishing up one and I'll have to post it when we are done. Cute tree. Hope your evening is going well.
Gorgeous Western Sky! A beautiful scene on that puzzle. Glad that you'll be able to get outside walking again tomorrow.
I love the train layout picture today. It and the puzzle picture have some wonderful similarities. The yellow just pops out of both. That's a great little tree in the basket.
Exactly the kind of weather we had today. Mostly clear sky early this morning with very pretty cloud formations. Then in the afternoon clouds began to move in.
I'm amazed how quickly you got the latest puzzle done.
That is sure a beautiful view from your basement walkout. What a great sunrise! I love your puzzle and the little Christmas tree on the table. See you again tomorrow.
Love the puzzle! The train yard scene is perfection & the sky shot is so majestic. Cute tree too.

I want to remember to scroll back and see today and yesterdsys train layout shot when I get home and in computer...phone just does not do them justice. That sky sure is beautiful...

That morning sky is amazing.
What a nice day you had. I now want a puzzle to put together. I guess you can find them online like everything else. I will get one for Christmas. An interesting quote.
That sky is A M A Z I N G
All the best Jan
Love that puzzle picture and Ken's display. Does his display get dusty? Do you have to dust all that stuff?
What a pretty view from your French doors! I like seeing photos of the train set ups.
