Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Tuesday

Still windy this morning but not nearly as windy as yesterday was.
30 degrees and sunny. 🙂

Mapped out a new walking route around town.
It takes me once around all the loops, up and down the
main road and around the industrial park.
It comes out to 6 miles.

A whole mess of geese on the town pond.

No people out walking again.
Sure was nice walking in the sunshine.

☀️    ☀️

Ken thanks you all for the Birthday wishes!

We didn't eat any of the cheesecake last night but did start
the day off right by having it for breakfast.

Shopping day again at Shop and Save.

We packed a lunch and went over to the Scenic Lookout
and ate there.

Knitted on my scarf some this afternoon and will
continue knitting on it this evening.

It would have been nice to go to Outback in Morgantown for
a birthday steak but not such a good idea this year,
so we had a nice meal at home.

Looking forward to another piece of cheesecake later.

Thanks for stopping by.
A happy Tuesday to you.

...well Happy Birthday Ken. The windy died down here today and 60-70s coming for the weekend. What strange weather.

I do believe I see your car at the pond with the Geese. Have enjoyed all your pictures in the last few months. Such beautiful color the trees had. So glad that you have this blog since the virus has taken over our lives.

Cheesecake for breakfast?! You people know how to live!

My sister and I had steak out for lunch today. It was so good. I haven't had steak for months. Hope that you get to have an Outback steak one day soon.

Hi Karen - I must have missed a day - didn't realize it was Ken's birthday, so tell him Happy Belated Birthday from Utah! We love cheese cake too! I love the picture of the geese. Your latest baby blanket is so pretty. So glad that all of your items came from LL Bean and that everything fit. See you again soon.

I couldn't go walking today because rain was pouring down. It continued most of the day and more is in the forecast.

Love Terr G's quote. And the pond with all the geese. AND it would be wonderful to once again dine out for a steak dinner, I hear 'ya.

Belated happy birthday wishes to Ken! Cheesecake has a number of the food groups in it, so it’s a great breakfast choice!:-)

The geese appear to be enjoying the water.

Ours are gone now for the south, though some are stopping in at the waters here from points further north.
