Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Coins

Drove to town and walked all over town again.
Walked around in the industrial park as well as the lower
cemetery and the ball park loop.

It was 48 degrees, sunny once it rose and windy.

Saw the usual deer and rabbits driving to town.

Lena and Pam were out walking.

It was a good money walk this morning.
In one of the parking lots of the industrial park
I found one quarter
3 dimes
2 nickels
6 pennies
They were all in the same area.
In another parking lot I found another dime.
So total coins for today is 81 cents.

Walked 6 miles

☀️    🙂    💰

In the morning did my usual household chores.

Sure was windy today.
Too windy to walk around in the woods that's for sure,
which I had planned on doing this aftenoon.
Just puttered around the house not doing much of anything.
Looked out the windows a lot watching the trees blowing every which way.

Thanks for stopping by.
A happy Wednesday to you.

What a great day for finding coins! How do you suppose they all landed there that way? It kind of makes up for the days when you find zip. Your new community hasn't been so coin rich as former ones.

Lovely collage...

Those leaves are gorgeous! The coins is a nice little plus. Do you think you have averaged finding a penny per day since you started walking?

...the color that you found is worth more than a purse full of coins!

What pretty photos of the leaves! Thanks for sharing. You could get rich walking through parking lots! ;-)

I love the leaves! It's interesting how you haven't found any money for a while, and then you find quite a windfall in one day. :-) See you again tomorrow.

If our trees were as colorful as yours, I would like to do nothing but look out the windows.

You found lots of loose change!! I picked up a dime on the WalMart lot and I thought of you. Besides looking for change I also like looking for vehicles whose insurance has run out. I always wonder if they're aware of it or not.

You should walk in that parking area more often.

God bless.

I always smile when you tell of the coins you find, Karen, since I walk up and down my driveway I rarely find any, but when I do I smile and think of you, however, I do find nails, yikes!
Your collage is beautiful, our leaves are just beginning to turn, I also noticed a lot of them falling before they reach their peak.
Thank you for visiting and for your sweet comment.

What a pretty collage.
That is quite the coin haul. I used to find coins fairly often, but rarely do anymore. I have wondered whether it has to do with so many people using credit cards for everything they buy.
Hope the wind has died down by now.

The leaves are beautiful, your area must be glorious this time of the year I hope you have a piggy bank for found change. It could grow fast if you continue finding lose change.

We were walking through a parking lot with my family and I talked about how you found coins pretty consistently. We didn't even find a penny!
