Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

The bulls are back

A front porch sunset.

Another walk to town this morning.
62 degrees and sunny with some clouds.
One of the clouds was rained filled and there was a quick little
shower just before I reached the main road.
Only lasted a couple of minutes and then sunny again.
A bit of a wind which kept things cool.

Walked around both cemeteries and down by the Drane house
to see if the bulls were back.
Yes, they were.
Two stopped eating to look up at me.

This big guy walked over to the fence by me.
Nice to get an up close picture of him.

After visiting the bulls I walked back home again.

Saw Rebecca out walking and a man walking his dog.

There are many of these pretty tiny yellow flowers down
along the brook.

Walked 6 miles

🌤     🙂     🌦

A relaxing kind of day and didn't get any work done.
Read quite a while and worked on the counted cross stitch.
A little walk around Happy Trails in the afternoon.
Made pizza for supper
and another day is winding down.

Thanks for stopping by.
A happy and healthy day to you.

I would love to be where I could see the bulls daily.

That is a pretty sunset...wish I could see that from my porch...

Ironic...we had pizza tonight. That rainy sky is beautiful. As are the bulls & flowers along the brook. You're continuing cross-stitch (me? I haven't worked on my crochet pansies for a couple of days).

Hi Karen. It is OK to have a relaxing day with not much to do- The Farm Bulls look most healthy...are they known as 'Angus' Bulls? Cheers. KEV.

An amazingly beautiful sunset. You are brave around the bulls. Some folks scoot right by without stopping to say hello. Sounds like a perfectly fine day to me. As long as I get one or two things accomplished each day, I'm content.

About the bell in yesterday's post, it rings at 6pm but not all the time.

Your sunset is spectacular, Karen, sunsets remind me that it's time to slow down from the days work!
Those look like young bulls. When I walk all my senses come alive, wild flowers are my favorite..

Thank you for visiting and for your sweet comment, have a great day,
Blessings,
Sue
