Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Long Driveway

Sunset last night from the front porch.
Lake of Fire

Now that it is light enough to walk from the house I will be
leaving around 6:30 each morning.
33 degrees this morning, calm, clear, and once the sun rose sunny.

Walked down my road to town.
This is were I see most of the deer, rabbits and birds.

Once again I went to the edge of town and walked around
both of the cemeteries.

Didn't see any one else out this morning.
The only 'good mornings' I said was to the cows, rabbits, deer, and birds.
They have yet to answer me back. 🙂

Walked 6 miles

☀️     ❤️     ☀️

It was a French toast morning.

One of our neighbors who have a cabin at the end of a long driveway
(just about a 1/2 mile)
live in RI and only come up here once a year or so.
She called and asked if we would go up to her cabin and check things out.
So just before lunch we took a walk up her driveway

to the cabin

to make sure all was okay.
Everything was fine.
Walked back home through the woods on Happy Trails.

A pretty sunny day, though very windy and on the cold side.

This is the finished baby blanket for April.

Worked on the puzzle quite a bit today.
This one is a hard one but not too hard that it isn't fun.
Will still be a few days putting it together.

Read some too.

So that's been my day.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy and healthy day to you.

Thanks so much for the sweet visit and comment to my blog!

That's one nice thing about spring; a little longer days with more sunlight.
I love to get up early too, and I get so much more accomplished by waking up early and getting a start to my day :)

Cute, cute cabin! So nice of you both to check on your friends cabin.

Love your blanket...it's darling.

Smiles :)

That’s a beautiful cabin in the woods...glad that you found everything okay and could relieve your neighbor’s mind.

Spring sure is coming on strong in your corner. Yay!

The new baby blanket is beautiful. Babies keep being born that’s for sure.
