Isaiah 1:18

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord:

though your sins be as scarlet,

they shall be as white as snow;

though they be red like crimson,

they shall be as wool.

For as the rain cometh down,

Deb - No, church services were not cancelled today.  I can't even imagine our Pastor cancelling church! 🙂

GrannyM - Don't keep track of the miles a pair of my shoes get.  Different shoes wear out quicker then others but I'd say I wear out a pair in 3 or 4 months.  When I'm done with a pair they are totally worn out and go right in the garbage.
