Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Baby Blanket

Up and out of the house at 6:30 this morning
and drove to town for my walk.
All the snow is gone from yesterday already.
Temperature was 29 degrees, with a slight breeze
sunny once the sun rose.
Sunrise 7:36

Walked all around town and then out past the industrial park
to the end of town.
Then walked along this road which runs between
the main road and the industrial park.

Walking around the ball park loop I saw a heron behind the path
down by the water.  When I walked down there it flew away.
It circled and landed again down stream but flew away again
when I tried to get a picture.

Another house for sale in town but you can't see the house
from the road because
it is down this long tree lined driveway.
I love this driveway.

From here I head back to the Jeep and home again.

Walked 6 miles

Finished this months baby blanket.
Green for spring and St Patrick's day.

Haven't decided on next months colors yet.

Haven't really done a whole lot of anything today.
Just stayed home doing this and that around the house.
Mid day the sun left us and it has been cloudy the rest of the day.

That's it for today.
A happy day to you.
Thanks for visiting.

I love the baby blanket...the green sure is pretty. The long drive to that house for sale is appealing all by itself!

Love the green blanket! How sweet.
I think next month should have some purples in it for Easter.

I'd love to live down a long winding driveway like that one. Except if we had snow. Then it might not be so much fun.
The green & white blanket is so appropriate for the season.

Hi there, Thought of you recently when we spent 3 days at Blackwater Falls State Park in West VA --not far south of you all... Do you still have that adorable cabin in the woods????? We love that area of the country...

Glad to see you are healthy and continuing to walk each day.

Hugs,
Betsy
