Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Snow

No blogging yesterday because it was a long work day at church
on Fingerprints and just wanted to sit in my chair when we got home.
A smaller than normal group of us because of the weather.
Cold, Snowy, and Very Windy.
We still managed to get just over 6,200 books assembled, cut,
and packaged up.

📚     📚

Today was a snowy morning with wind and ice around so did my walking
making laps around the basement.

Did go outside though for a couple of hours and shoveled
the snow off the driveway.
I enjoy shoveling snow.
It's good exercise, I get out in the fresh air,
and it is a sense of accomplishment getting the driveway cleared.

By the time that was done it was time for lunch.

The afternoon was spent puttering around the house.

A happy day to you.
Thanks for visiting.

SusanQ - The colors for the next baby blanket I'm working on are three shades of green. Thought they would be good colors for spring.

That is a fair bit of snow.

Love the three shades of green for the baby blanket. That is a beautiful snowy picture. We had flurries all day today but only a very slight skim of snow now.

Those rabbits are so cute!

At your mention of walking laps around the basement, I think I'll do some stair climbing (and descent) for a while. :-)

...I understand that they have a lot of snow back home. It's windy here and saw some windsurfers, wow what a show they put on. Have a great weekend Karen.

Hi Karen. Wow you guys made lots of little books. Please refresh my memory on what you do with them. Who do you give them to? Very snowy day for you. We are supposed to get some snow here on Sunday but it was up to 60 and beautiful here today. I love the blanket you are making in shades of green. Have a good one! See you tomorrow.

Those bunnies on the bicycle are delightful. Amazing what you folks do with the Fingerprint ministry. Surprised by your weather, especially since the promised snow came as rain here.

It looks very wintery out your way. Looks very chilly too.

You got lots of snow. We had a storm last week and it snowed very hard; a few hours later it was gone. Snow usually doesn't stick around and that's good for us. Storm Jorge is making an appearance today and we have red and orange alerts for extreme wind and rain. Be glad when it's over.
Have a great day and a wonderful weekend.

Hello,

You did have a lot of snow, we only had some flurries here. I have gone out shoveled around the car and driveway many times, it is hard work.
The bunnies riding the bike is cute. Love the blanket colors.
Enjoy your day, happy weekend!

WV is my home state. Moved away 42 years ago for work.

The New River Gorge. I have been there many times. Beautiful there.

Quite a walk up and down that board walk.

I had to shovel mud the other day. I'd rather it be snow.

Shoveling snow is good exercise if your back doesn't get tweaked. You definitely have more snow than us.
