Once again I drove the Jeep to town and started my walk at 6:45.
It was 37 degrees, cloudy, with a pretty good wind.
Sunrise 7:35
Had my usual around town walk,
both cemeteries, and the ball park loop.
Nothing out of the ordinary but happy to be able to enjoy
a walk outside.
Didn't take any pictures on my walk but here is one
from the other day.
One of those nice sunny days with a pretty blue sky and white clouds.
Walked 6 miles
By the time I got home the temperature was starting to fall and
it was 32 degrees.

It was Blankets for Babies day at church so just had time to get
home and change and leave again.
There were 13 of us working on the blankets today.
Marilyn brought us cinnamon rolls and muffins for breakfast
and Helen did the devotional.
to the newborns.
Got a few things done around the house this afternoon
then did some reading and knitting before supper.
That's all for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you.

...what a wonderful idea those blankets are!
Hi Karen - this blankets for babies project is so cool. I must have missed the post where you explained where the blankets go. Are they donated in your community? Given to needy families? I just think it is a wonderful project to participate in. :-)
I like the look of that sky.
That is a LOT of blankets...showing love through action.
It was bright and sunny here, but so cold. The cold just went to the bone when we went outside for anything.
I'm sure it must make for an enjoyable time, when you ladies get together to work like this.
Making the blankets is such wonderful work and I know they are appreciated. Glad you got out for your walk. We hiked this afternoon and it was nice....temps are supposed to get cooler in a few days though. Enjoy your evening! You deserve a break...or some ice cream! Hugs!
That is a beautiful picture!
That is an impressive number of blankets. How wonderful to think of so many newborn babies being wrapped in a warm blanket lovingly made by you and the other ladies at your church.
Lucky babies to have such a wonderful group ladies working hard to keep them warm! I love the weaving you do to make these little blankets. Our weather took a turn for the worse, so my heavy coat got its first use this week. Looks like there is more to come.
I love cinnamon rolls. You should post some on your blog sometime. Now I have to go and buy some.
God bless.
