Another scene from Ken's train layout.
A look inside the church.
Ken even painted the figure inside to look like our Pastor.
Today at church I picked up a Daily Bible Reading Calendar
for 2020.
Every day I read some of the Bible and by the end of the year
have the whole Book read.
This reading schedule is an ambitious one but one I hope to do.
Following this plan by the end of the year
I will read through the Old Testament once,
the New Testament twice,
Psalms twice
and Proverbs 12 times.
Do you have a Bible reading plan?
A Blessed Sunday to you.

...Ken's artistry is amazing!!! Thanks for sharing, Happy New Year to you both.
It looks like a very idyllac village Ken built.
To you and yours, have a very Happy New Year
Wonderful details from the train set.
That's a lovely church and I like that Ken made the pastor look like your real-life pastor!!
You know I love seeing the pictures from the layout. You can never go wrong reading God's Word.
Ken has really done some amazing work here. The church reminds me of the one on "Little House". :) I do not follow a specific reading plan but I do think I need something like this!
Love that church and the fact that the pastor looks like yours. I used a plan this last year that I enjoyed with readings 5 days a week. Most days had an old testament, new testament and Psalm readings. Tomorrow I will complete it. Not sure if I'll do the same one this year.
This is my favorite scene yet! Those folks at the church surely have some nice looking cars! I can't help wondering what the old fellow in the overalls to the right of the church is doing. Your yearly reading plan is an ambitious one, but I have no doubt that you will do it.
No, but I’d like to. I just watched a Francis Schaeffer program where he said that one should read the Bible as one would read any other book...from the beginning to the end because it provides continuity. Think I’ll try that this year rather than hopping about. I’m a little worried about Ken’s parking spaces. Someone is going to get angry. 😏
I was admiring the cars parked there...love the little church and how he painted its pastor to resemble your own. I have a daily devotional that is sent to my email...I cannot remember if I started it before or after Roger's stroke...and with it, would read through the Bible in a year. I did not do much reading when I first broke my leg...
Wow - that is a very ambitious Bible reading plan! Good for you! I read the scriptures almost every day, but don't get through that much! I keep going and read most every day thought, so consistency is good too! Again, great photo of the train layout. Hope you have a really good last few days of this year!
With best wishes for a Happy and Healthy New Year.
God bless.
