Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Two under the bridge

Drove to town again and started walking at 6:35.
It was almost like a summer morning with a temperature of 59 degrees.
It was a cloudy morning with periods of drizzly rain.
Sunrise 7:45

Saw a few deer and a rabbit driving to town.
Another random walk all over town.
No other people did I see.
Took a few turns around the ball park loop
and the lower cemetery.
I ended up going back to the Jeep and dropping off my umbrella.
The rain was very light and I was getting warm so it felt good
to be a bit damp while walking.

The fountain in the town pond has been turned
off for winter.  With these warm temperatures it
could have been left on a bit longer.
But then again it could be freezing by tomorrow.
Walked back to the Jeep and drove home.

Walked 6 miles

☁️     🌧     ☁️

Finished up the housework that I was supposed to do yesterday!

Once again I watched a couple of deer out back and they stayed
a while today.

Straightened up the desk in my office
and Ken did his too.
Wasn't that messy so it didn't take very long.

Then I went back to reading.

It is very WINDY outside now and raining.
Probably won't see many more leaves on the trees after tonight.

That's all for today.
A happy day to you.
Thanks for stopping by.

That is just so special to have the deer right near your home.

I was wondering last night if the deer was still resting under your bridge...looks like still visiting it at least.

We had snow today, but was in the 30's, so just got a skim. But it sure felt like winter with the wind....it even sounded winterish. (<<<new word...lol)

...that really isn't a bridge, it's a deer shelter!

This windy weather must be up and down the east coast. It is howling here tonight and pouring rain. One more day of it. I can’t wait to get out from under this weather...it made for a very long week. I need the sun! ☀️

The deer are feeling right at home.

I love the way the deer feel so safe in your yard. Had to smile when I read Tom's comment.

It has been a cold, windy day here, as well. I think we just skipped right from summer into winter. You know, that arched bridge is pretty awesome! I guess the deer think so too.

Warmish Autumn Day - just nice for walking. The Wind can sure take away the leaves and dry things out too. Glad your having Rain. Rain is forecast here this coming week- we're keeping our fingers crossed for it.

We have deer stop by our back yard too, when I am working and see them it is hard for me to not stop work and watch, though if Lucy, our dog, sees them she runs them away.

Love all the photos, but the one with the reflection on the water is so beautiful..
Thanks to your motivation I am now walking on a regular schedule, and am up to 4 miles a day.

Thank you for stopping by and for your sweet comment.
Have a great day.
Blessings,
Sue
