37 degrees (didn't feel that cold) this morning,
calm and a very light drizzle when I first
left this morning on my walk.
The drizzle stopped soon after though and just cloudy
for the rest of my walk.
Haven't seen any deer for the last few days but did see
a few rabbits. Lots of robins around too.
Walked to town and went straight on the main road through town.
Walked around town and made a stop at the old house
before heading back home.
A nice, quiet, and uneventful walk but that is a good thing.
Walked my usual 6 miles.
🌼 🌼 🌼
It stayed on the cool side today with it only reaching 40 degrees F.
Had a little drizzle but mostly just cloudy.
Did a couple of things around the house and then was
just going to read for a little while.
Except for taking a break to bake a batch of Snickerdoodle Cookies
I read till I finished my book. I just couldn't put it down.
Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult is excellent.
I rate it 5 stars.
I posted a picture of the back cover of the book yesterday
telling what it is about.
That's it for today.
Hope you made your day a happy one.

Glad you had a good quiet walk!
...I like that white that you don't need to shovel.
The pictures from your walk today are so green and pretty. I'm going to enter the name of that book into Good Reads so I can remember to look for it when I'm out. I have read several books by Jodi Picoult and enjoy her as an author. I'm currently waiting for my strawberry rhubarb crisp to come out of the oven. It smells so good. Enjoy your Snickerdoodles.
Thought our corner was the only one getting these very chilly temps. Ten inches of snow at some of the ski resorts today. Crazy weather!
Now you have me interested in this book you are giving a five-star rating...hmmmm...
I am amazed at the scenes you are able capture on those daily walks. Beautiful!
I'm always on the hunt for good books so thank you for the recommendation. I love the photos and especially the winding roading photo #2 from the top.
Love the spots of wildflowers along your walk, and that it was a peaceful one for you today. I made a note of your book recommendation - I am always up for one that "can't be put down".
Your pictures are always so pretty. I can just picture you alone walking along that winding road. Sounds like a good book. Wish I could sit still and read. I want to read, just can't do it. I am still trying to finish "A Light in the Window", Jan Karon. Think I started it a year ago. Maybe after this gardening season is over?? :)
I will have to check out this book. I have read one or two other titles by this author and they were also good.
Hello, pretty scenes from your walk. I will check to see if my library has this as an ebook. Our temps have been 20 or more degrees below normal for this time. I hope it warms up soon. Wishing you a happy day!
Your walks and flowers are beautiful!
Spring has nicely established itself there.
It has been chilly in the mornings and evenings around here lately too. Lovely, lovely scenes on your morning walks. Love me some Snickerdoodles!
Love that second shot...looking down the road shots are some of my favorites. The book does sound interesting.
