I think this morning was my last walk in the basement for a while.
We had a nice warm up and by the afternoon
it was in the mid 30's and sunny.
We went outside after lunch and got the driveway
passable. Ken used the snow blower and I shoveled.
Lots of ice under the snow so we had to put salt out.
Temperature supposed to stay above freezing the next few days
so lots of melting will be going on.
At the very bottom of the driveway where the snow plow
leaves that big pile of snow we noticed that this time
it wasn't there. Our neighbor plowed it down for us.
I'll have to bake him some cookies to say thank you.
Just home puttering about the house today.
A very little bit of house work,
reading,
and making squares.
Hope your day was a happy one.

Dianna - No, we didn't measure how much snow we got but it was probably 10 inches or so.

That is sooooooo beautiful. (with all the melting, you may be swimming instead of walking...:-)
...a beautiful ending to what I hope was beautiful day.
How kind of your neighbour to plow the accumulated snow away from the driveway.
It was a puttering kind of day here too. Pleasant enough at 7C for both of us to get a bit of outside work done.
That sunset is beautiful. I drove in to town late yesterday to get us a fish plate for supper and the sunset was the most beautiful I have ever seen here in NC. Sure hate I didn't have my camera. Glad it warmed up a bit for you. Your snow pictures are so pretty in your last post.
Pretty sunset
What a beautiful sunset, Karen!
Wonderful photo. Thank you, Happyone.
God bless.
Hello,
God bless all the good neighbors. Love the pretty sunset shot.
Happy Sunday, enjoy your day, have a great new week ahead.
Praising God with you for the warm-up and hoping that it doesn’t spoil me too much. Alas, as with most warm-ups, mine is coming with precipitation. Praise God for helpful neighbors, too. Have a blessed Sunday.
Yay, for warmer days ahead. I can imagine that you were up and at 'em early this morning. I hope the ground hog didn't see his shadow here. We are headed to 70 degrees today...almost hot! :~)
Beautiful way to end the day.
Neighbors helping neighbors. I love it.
