Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

The latest two puzzles

Thanks for all the anniversary wishes. 😊

Well there was nothing falling from the sky
this morning and the sun did come out and you might have thought
that sounded good for a morning walk,
BUT
the temperature was -10F
so back down in the basement for my walk.

Pictures of the last two puzzles.
Small and easy ones.
Each one done in a day.

We had enough of this staying in the house so we left at lunch time
and went into town.
We had a bite to eat and then went to the library.
Ken had a book on hold and it was ready for pick up.

There is a big event that our church holds on every year,
Sportsman's Wild Game Dinner
and local businesses donate gifts for the door prizes.
Ken and I went around and started picking up some of the prizes.
The picture above is a flyer that we put up on the
bulletin board in the laundromat.

When we got back home we decided to bundle up and take a ride
on the ATV around the trails on our property.
Driving up the lane here.
It was a beautiful sunny day with a beautiful blue sky.
Looks warm but looks can be deceiving,
the temperature was 4F.
Here we are driving down one of the trails.
All those tracks you see are deer tracks.
It was neat to see all the different trails the deer travel along.
Only stayed out about 45 minutes.
It was nice to be outside for a while
but nice to get inside our nice warm house again
where we had a hot cup of tea.

I guess that about does it for today.
Hope your day was a happy one.
Life is Good

I did my walk inside today, too. Much too cold to be outside.

...the sun on the snow looks great.

The coldest days are often the ones with the most sunshine.

Glad you got to get out a bit...and glad you had sun, too.
Tomorrow we are headed for a big warm up...all the way up to 38! And saying 58/59 on Sunday and Monday. What a drastic change that will be.

White snow and blue sky make for wonderful pictures.

Glad you and Ken got out for a while today. I know you must have been quite thankful for your nice warm house when you got back from your ATV ride. :)

Cute chipmunk puzzle. If the hot balloon one had more pieces, it would probably be tough. You two are brave to be out so long in the cold. I’m sure that I can trust you to be properly dressed. Ha! The church dinner sounds like good fun.

Hello,

I like the view of your land and the deer tracks are cool. Pretty puzzle, the hot air balloons is beautiful. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend.

I love that squirrel puzzle. Still looks very cold where you are. Keep warm and take care.

God bless.

Looks like a fun community event. It's great to be a part of a community where everyone can get together and talk and make new friendships :)

Hoping that it warms up for you guys soon and that you can get back outside for your walks.

Thanks for your kind comments on my post!!

Have a happy weekend.

Late, as usual, but Happy Anniversary! I really enjoyed reading how you and Ken met. Gosh, that is so neat. You two were meant to be together. I stayed with you for a while on the in-laws and step-sisters and sister-in-laws and all that, but it got a little confusing at the end. :) you were brave to go out riding in 4 degree weather. It drives me crazy too, being inside too much.

Neat puzzles. I just finished another one of a castle. I've kept one going ever since Christmas. Your outing on the ATV sounds like fun but I'm not sure I could have stuck it out for 45 minutes. Cold.
