Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Blue skies and a memory verse

So nice to see the sun and blue sky today.
This month at church we have two verses to memorize which
are familiar to most of us.

Luke 2:13-14
And suddenly there was with the angel
a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

A Blessed Sunday to you on this first Sunday in December.

This is the first bible verse I remember learning... I was an angel in the school nativity... with wings made of cardboard and a tinsel halo. That was almost fifty years ago...and it feels like yesterday!
