Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunny day

Upon arising this morning I decided to take my walk a
little bit later than usual because I wanted my whole walk to be in the light
and when the sun was shining.
Before I left I did a load of laundry and had breakfast.
Left at 8:15.  It was 30 degrees and sunny.
I walked to town and dropped a book down the slot at the library.
Then continued through town to the laundromat and put up a couple of fliers
for some church events coming up.
Stopped by the old house for a pit stop and the for sale sign in the yard
had fallen down so put that up again.
Then walked back home.

A beautiful day for walking in the crisp fall air.
When I walked in the door Ken said that I smelled
like fresh air.

Was inside today getting some housework done.
These pictures are for you Vee.  😊
We went to Brenda's for half price pizza Monday for supper.
We usually just get a plain cheese but today we got a topping of
roasted red peppers.

A happy day to you.

Beautiful photos. I enjoyed seeing inside your house now that you are fully moved in. It looks very cosy. I also like the country scene in the last photo with the dusting of snow.

I love getting out early to walk, but because I walk across fields and through woods it is usually quite wet early, so I walk later in the day. I surely do admire you for your giddy up and go. Your home is beautiful and so neat and clean. I love the fireplace stove.

Wasn't the sunshine beautiful today? I just loved it. Carroll used the time to cut some firewood and he smelled like fresh air, too, when he came in. I loved seeing the pictures of your lovely home, Karen. Love the openess of it all and yet the way you have placed your furniture it still seems nice and cozy.

Thank you! That was great. Your rooms are attractive and pleasant and so homey. I even recognize many of your decor items and it is fun to see them used in your new home. The sink standing alone without cabinetry is genius! I haven’t seen that in newer homes. It gives the kitchen a vintage quality, which I like a lot.

I enjoyed the peek into your new home. It looks very charming. I also noticed the unusual kitchen sink. I've never seen such before but it's really neat.
