Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Peaceful walk and work

Left at 7:00 just as it was getting light.
50 degrees and the sun came out.
Walked the Hilly Loop.
Only saw cows and deer for the first 2 1/2 miles and then the
first car passed me.
Such a pretty peaceful walk.
Some pictures along the way.

Did the usual morning chores and then went outside and picked
up more dead fall and put it in the fire pit.
We collected some more rocks and Ken added them to the
low wall he's making along the driveway.

Then we went down to the old house and I mowed the lawn
and Ken had a few other things to do there.
Still no offers on the house and we've only had those
3 viewings.

Home for lunch and then back outside to continue working
on picking up the dead fall out front.
Ken moved the swing from the back of the house to the front.
When I paint it I'll take a picture.

Came inside at 2:30 and got cleaned up and now we are off in
just a bit to Duncansville, Pa (about 2 hours from home) for the
Beacon of Truth Rally at the Dry Run Independent Baptist Church.
Beacon of Truth is where the Romans books that we put
together when we have Fingerprints at our church are printed.
They are located in Florence, NC.
We were asked to bring the staple machine stands that we use at
our church.  Ken designed and made them and maybe others
could make them and use them at their churches.

Hope your day is a happy one.

Another happy day with pretty pics to prove it. With regard to the sale of your house, it only takes one. I could tell you some stories! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Since God is no respecter of persons, what He did for me, I know He’ll do for you and Ken. Ongoing prayers...

I'm glad the grass won't be growing much anymore. I hate mowing the lawn.

I was wondering if anything came of the house viewings... we'll keep our fingers crossed for you!

These photos all look like they could have been taken on Haywood Hollow, the road where we will be building our home. So very peaceful! Enjoy the rest of your week, Karen!
