Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Blue Sky

62 degrees this morning and cloudy, but at least it was dry.

Walked to the edge of town and then went up the hill to one of
the cemeteries and around it a couple of times.  Then down
to see the how the horses were doing by the Drane house.
Just saw two of them and they looked up but didn't come over.
Little Star is getting quite big now.

Down the hill and over to the other cemetery and walked around
there once and then headed back home.
Just as I was getting home there was a peak of blue sky and the sun.

The usual deer were out and I saw the mink again run across the road
in almost the same place as last time.

Walked 6 miles
Found a penny
๐ŸฆŒ     ๐ŸฆŒ
Had the usual house chores to do in the morning.

The Super Seniors outing this month was lunch at Perkins
and 17 of us met there at 12:00.
Always enjoy our time together. ๐Ÿ˜Š
Most of us had lemon meringue pie for dessert.
They bake it fresh every day.
Ken and I shared a piece.
It is mouth watering good.

Late morning that little bit of blue sky turned into a lot of blue
sky with lots of sunshine.
Such a treat after not seeing the sun for days and days.
Took these blue sky pictures from my front porch.

Too nice to stay inside so I was outside picking up more dead fall
and making a big burn pile.
Ken was working on the fence around the propane tank.
Then we sat on the porch a while before coming back inside.

Had a pretty big lunch so just had an apple for supper.

A happy day to you.

Your pictures are always breathtaking. That blue sky! It's liking looking at it in person! Well, I've caught up again...all the way back to the man feeding the deer. That is so neat. Maybe I should try feeding the deer...I wonder how he ever got them to come close enough.

I hope you can get a picture of the Mink one day. Id love to see one. We have a lot of ground hogs here but rarely see deer.

Never seen a mink. Would love to see one. My mother had a mink stole (but we won't talk about that) and that's the closest I've come. Have a great weekend. Is Florence going to come near you?

What nice weather you are having. I just took pics of the mountains and now we are getting our first little rain shower. We will have more to come! Hope your son does okay! Hope we don't lose power! Hugs!

No, think we are too far west, probably just a little rain.
