Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Any day now

60 degrees this morning with a mix of sun and clouds.

Walked through town, down toward Happy Trails
and continued on my usual walk around town and the cemeteries
and the ball park loop.

A bunny under the fence having his breakfast.
Pretty quiet around town and didn't see anyone else out.

Was nice to find another penny.
Walked 6 miles
  🚶🏼‍♀️    🚶🏼‍♀️
Went up to the new house after breakfast.
We took up some dishes and books and the curtains I ironed yesterday.

Brought  some things upstairs we had sitting in the basement.
Dining Table, white kitchen cabinet and,  a small bookcase.
I went around and put the last few switch plates and outlet covers
on but used the wrong screws so Ken took them out and put the
right ones in.
House is starting to look like home.
The siding is just about done and it shouldn't take long to finish
the porch.  We could really move in now but have to wait for the
final inspection and that will be any day now.

The sunny day was interrupted by a thunder storm that rolled
by this afternoon but the sun was soon shining again.

Hope your day was a happy one.

An Irish Blessing
May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

How nice to be able to move things in and not have to rush. Any viewings of your for sale house or offers?

I love your photos, especially the first one. I always get a little smile when I read in your post that you found another penny. Sadly our mint stopped making pennies a few years ago already.

No, we've only had that one viewing on the second day. Nothing else since.
