Didn't take any pictures during my walk this morning.
This was taken this afternoon at the end of the driveway at the new house
just before today's thunder storm rolled in.
Left the house right at 6:30 this morning.
It was 64 degrees, cloudy and not a hint of a breeze.
Had my usual 6 mile walk all around town.
I walk the same roads most mornings just in a different order.
Town back to normal after yesterday.
The only thing left is all the candy squashed on the roads.
The parade precipitants throw out handfuls of candy to the onlookers
and what doesn't get picked up then are left for the cars to run over.
Saw a couple of people walking in the distance.
Did see a little sun by the time I got home and later the sun
was shining brightly.
A little after breakfast we went to pick up the church trailer that
we left the other day at the sign place to get the church information
and logo put on it.
Picked up the trailer and dropped it off at church.
Here it is.
Looking Unto Jesus
After lunch we went up to the new house.
Ronnie and Walter were up on ladders finishing up the 6th and last
peak on the house.
Ken and I walked around and did a little picking up and planning
what we should do next.
It was sunny at first but then it clouded up and we had a thunderstorm
come through.
We sat on the porch on overturned buckets and waited out the rain.
We were home late afternoon.
I got a call from the library saying the book for next weeks
book club meeting was ready for me to pick up.
Walked over there and picked that up.
Have one week to read it. That shouldn't be a problem.
Supper tonight was homemade pizza. ๐
Hope your day was a good one. ๐

...you sure have rocks!
I like the cloudy scene. A little rain would be nice right now!
Also...thanks for the verse. Looking unto Jesus...a timely reminder.
Looks as if you will be nicely tucked into the forest... I like the church trailer...good idea to testify.
Hi Karen! I love the color of your new house! Homemade pizza sounds delicious!
Love your scalloped shingles, they add so much old fashion charm:)
I remember as a kid, having one week to read a real book would have been torture
That porch looks like it will be the perfect spot to sit and enjoy nature.
The setting for your new house is quite lovely. With the trees all around and the rock wall. It won't be long before you get to move in!
Your new house looks so nice! I know you'll both be very happy there! "Looking unto Jesus" ... what a blessed phrase that is!
Hello, your new home is looking beautiful. The cloudy scene is pretty too, we are having storms off and on. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
