Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Baby Blanket

๐Ÿฆ‹     ๐Ÿฆ‹     ๐Ÿฆ‹
Up and out of the house walking this morning at 6:30.
A cloudy morning and 60 degrees.

Walked up and down the streets in town and around both cemeteries
and the ball park loop.
The older gentleman was out riding his bike and the man who
runs around and around the ball park was there doing his laps.
Also saw Ruth Anne walking her two dogs.
There were many geese by the town pond.  I lost count at 35.

Another enjoyable walk and did my usual 6 miles.

We left the house not long after breakfast and went to LaVale.
At the Lowe's there (better selection than the one nearer to us)
we bought the towel racks and TP holders for our 1 1/2 baths for the new house.

We also stopped in at Walmart and did a little food shopping.
I picked up some new nail polish too.

This afternoon I stayed home and finished sewing the baby blanket.
Had a thunder storm roll in just before supper.
It got very dark and boy did it rain.
Should make pulling weeds very easy tomorrow.

We ate the chicken for supper that I cooked up yesterday.
Made Chicken Parmesan this evening.

That's about it for today.
Hope your day was a happy one.

Sounds like the new house is almost finished if you are installing the towel racks! I love the baby blanket. Chicken Parmesan sounds wonderful! Enjoy the rest of your day.

...rain, that elusive commodity this year for us this summer. Only the crabgrass gets enough to grow!

Some baby and mother will be richly blessed to receive that lovely blanket.

Beautiful baby blanket. You did a great job.
We had a late afternoon storm. It had been gloomy all day but never rained til then.

One of my coworkers went to Michigan where they have Menards, he said their selection was way better than HD or lowes

One way of counting geese accurately is to count their feet and divide by 2. Always works for me.

God bless.

Never heard of it. Just looked it up. Nearest one to us is in Columbus Ohio which is 188 miles away. Too bad it wasn't a bit closer. Looks like a nice store.

Love the foggy morning pics! I know you have posted about the baby blanket before but can't remember how you made the squares...are they woven? Such pretty colors!

The squares are made on a 4 inch loom called a weave-it loom. If you scroll down a bit and click on the link 'Weave-it' it will explain what they are.

Your blanket turned out lovely and it looks so soft :) On the comment you left on my blog you said: that I looked like I could have been one of the little rascals. I probably was, but not the ones in the movies, LOL.
