Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Almost For Sale

When I left on my walk this morning it was 58 degrees and at first the
sun was out.  Clouds took over soon after but nice that no rain
came down.  Great to be out early and walking.

Went through town and up Barn Sale Road.
The cows have been moved out of this pasture to the one above
this one.  Can't really see them in the picture but they are up there
by the trees.
Some wild daisies along the side of the road.
Walked the usual loops around the cemeteries and the ball park loop.
No one else out walking that I saw.
They are still working on the sidewalks in town and still one
way traffic through town.

Walked 6 miles

The sun came out mid morning and it has been a beautiful
sunny day with those big puffy clouds.
On the cool side in the 60's.

In the morning we went to the church and did a little work there.

After lunch we met with our realtor Amy at our house
to get the ball rolling to put the house up for sale.

We really have nothing much to do except a little painting
and should be able to put out the For Sale sign next week.

A couple of these little reddish squirrels have been coming to the feeders.
They are so tiny I have to take a double look to see if they are
chipmunks.
David met us at Brenda's for Monday half price pizza.
Stopped at Shop and Save on the way home for a new supply of ice cream.
Thinking about having chocolate marshmallow this evening.

Hope your day was a good one and you smiled often.

"The best things in life are nearest:
Breath in your nostrils,
light in your eyes,
flowers at your feet,
duties at your hand,
the path of right just before you.
Then to not grasp at the stars,
but do life's plain, common work as it comes,
certain that daily duties and daily bread
are the sweetest things in life."

The weather here was very much like yours. We reached 17 C. ( 62 F.)
Our ice cream was Pralines and Cream.

You've been a busy beaver and it will be nice to see the results of your labour (sale and move). Lovely scenery.

Sounds exciting when it comes to putting your house on the market! It is in a good location and such a nice home. I can't imagine anyone not wanting to buy it. I've been praying about it.

Another inspiring poem from RL. Stevenson...it's already hot here in our little city, but I will not complain. I sure will miss this weather when winter comes:)

That's a nice poem.
See? You are such a good housekeeper/home caretaker that you don't even have to do anything to get ready! That's impressive! Your beautiful house will sell quickly. Off to the woods, right? Take care, sweet Karen.

Hello, it is exciting to be so near to moving and selling your home. Good luck, I hope the home sells quickly. Choc Marshmallow ice cream would be one of my choices. Have a happy day!

I’m sure summery weather will return, but it is odd to have this very chilly weather.

Is that squirrel a baby? Cute little thing, if I liked squirrels.

Glad that it’s a go for the house to go on the market. I don’t think it will take long.

No, it is an American Red Squirrel and they are smaller than a regular squirrel. Not a fan of squirrels either.
