Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Will the snow never end

I'm sure you all are getting mighty tired of seeing snowy
pictures here on my blog, but here are a few more.
Once again this morning it was snowing when I walked.

It was 28 degrees and windy at times.
Since we changed the clocks ahead it is pretty dark when I start out again.
(Sure wish they would leave the time ALONE!!)

I didn't bother to put my ice grippers on the bottom of my snow sneakers
this morning but soon realized I should have because the snow
was covering some icy spots and I slipped a few times.

There was no other crazy person out there walking.

Since I was getting in the way of the snow plows again
and slipped a few times, thought it was best to just go home.
Just a 4 mile walk this morning.
🍀     🍀
Started the book club book, Liar Temptress Soldier Spy
by Karen Abbott about four women during the Civil War but
just couldn't get interested in it so decided not to read it.
Too many other books I want to read.
After lunch I walked to the library and dropped that book off
plus one other and then spotted a couple more that I wanted to
read so check those out.
While I was out stopped at the post office to mail a letter.
It always makes me smile that this post office closes down
for lunch from 1:00 - 2:00.

Late afternoon we went out to do a few errands including
food shopping.
The sun did pop out for a bit late in the day just before it
was time to set.

Life is Good
Count your blessings and have a happy day.

It sure looks wintry. I know you're glad to get out for awhile but slipping is serious business. I'm like you about books...so many good ones to read, I don't like to spend time on one I'm not interested in. Hugs!

You, my friend, are the one who is no doubt getting tired of seeing snowy conditions! I couldn't believe how much more you had than we did. Our big snow amounted to not even covering the grass in the yard today. I'm with you...I wish they would leave the time alone. ;-)

I like seeing the snowy pics and these are very pretty. Soon it will all be distant memory.

As much as I would like to see green grass and spring, the snow does make for lovely photos.

Time really should be left alone.

You're so lucky to have all that beautiful snow! I'm sure you don't feel that way, but it's wonderful to look at.
