Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Vintage Baby Cards

Ken thanks you all for the birthday wishes.

A beautiful site in the sky this morning.
🐄     🐄     🐄
Didn't leave until 7:05 this morning on my walk.
It was 57 degrees and sunrise was at 7:49 and then a mix of sun and clouds.

Walked behind my house, through town and down toward HT, back to town,
around both cemeteries and the ball park loop.

The geese are still hanging around by the town pond.
Not much activity around town this Saturday morning.
Walked 6.2 miles
🐄     🐄     🐄
Went up to the house site mid morning and did a little bit of clean up.
Planned on starting a burn pile but never got around to it.

Next stop was at the Corn Maze but we were too late this year.
It was already closed for this year.
Oh well, there is always next year.

We were invited over to a friends house this evening to play some
table shuffle board but got a call to say it was cancelled.

I guess we were meant to stay home today!

I got some more weave-it squares made, read some more and went
through some very old cards from when I was born.
Just couldn't throw them away.
Here are some of them.

Inside - you can't tell from the picture but the diapers on the line
are a pop out.
Not the day we planned but a good one never the less.

Life is Good
A smile from me to you.
happyone  😊

I am thankful for my morning walks.
For the beautiful scenery that is before me.
For the people I have met on my walks and the animals that I see.
For the little toots and waves from people that pass me.
That I'm healthy enough to get out there and walk every day.

Gorgeous photo of the sunrise with the tree silhouette in the foreground.
I can see why you wanted to keep those adorable baby cards. The one with the pop up diapers is especially cute.

I LOVE old cards...some of todays are beautiful, but there is just something about old ones. My mom used to have a box of old Christmas cards and every so often I would get them out and look through them. I still have a get well card from a friend of the family when I had my tonsils out at 7 yrs of age.

That morning sky is just beautiful!
