Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Tuesday

πŸŽƒ     πŸŽƒ     πŸŽƒ
This morning the temperature was 36 degrees and sun rise was at 7:45.
I left the house at 7:20.  A bit breezy and all the snow from yesterday was gone.
Nice to be out walking in the sunshine.
Once the time change happens I'll be back to walking earlier again.

Walked all around town and just a little ways up Barn Sale.
Met up with Cathy and walked around the cemeteries with her.

They took the fountain out of the town pond for the winter.
After Cathy left I walked around town again and a couple of times
around the ball park loop.
Walked 6.4 miles
Found a penny

I wanted to go to the corn maze today but then found out it is only
open on the weekends so will have to wait until Saturday to go.

Got the sheets washed and hung out on the line.
You just can't bottle that smell.
And got a few other house chores done.

Ken went up to the HT to the house site but I decided to stay home.

We went over to Morgantown, WV to have dinner at Outback.
An early celebration dinner for Ken's birthday which is in a few days.
We both had steak, potatoes, and a salad.
It was delicious.
While we we up there we looked around in Lowe's after we ate picking out
bathroom vanities and sinks, lights, and ceiling fans for the new house.

 That's it for today.
 Life is Good
A smile from me to you.
happyone 😊

PomPom - as requested here's a picture of my snow sneakers.
FG - I live in the most north western part of Maryland that you can go and still be in the state.  Yes, it is up in the mountains.  I guess some people would call them hills but they are mountains around here.  😊(2800 ft)

Debby - They say possibly by February but I'm thinking more like April.

What a blue, gorgeous, clear sky! I have been doing more reading around here than commenting... Had to do a search for the toothpaste tip because I couldn’t remember how far back in October it was. I want to thank you for all the beautiful foliage photos. Please keep them coming as ours has played itself out. (Glad that snow melted!)

Your autumn colours are gorgeous. Summer will be here for us in a few weeks and this week has certainly been a warm one.

What a difference a day makes. :) We've been looking at bathroom vanities, too. We ended up ordering one off of the Costco website. Hope you have a good day today. I'm a bit behind on visiting blogs.

Your snow didn't last long! Lovely sky shots. It wont be long before those beautiful leaves fall off those gorgeous trees.
Have a great week :)
