Comment Replies:Vee - I know it is hard to believe but Scout will be 14 on the 5th. Her brother Japhy is 11. My two older grandkids, Antonio and Taryn are 26 and 24.
BettyC - I'll try but my little point and shoot camera doesn't take such great nighttime photos.

This morning when I left the house it was 68 degrees and mostly cloudy
but I did see a bit of sun at times.
I walked up passed the school and instead of turning right to walk the
Farm Loop I kept going straight and walked a mile and a half UP the hill.
Looking to the right of the middle you can see the Dairy Farm that I walk
past along the Farm Loop.
I'm near the top of the hill here and had some fantastic views.
You can see town off in the distance.
A barn along the way.
It was quite a trek up but then I got to walk down the hill.
Once back to town I walked once around one of the cemeteries and home.
No one else walking or running this morning but I did see George driving by
and he stopped for a little chat. He just got back from a holiday
kayaking in Canada.
Nice to walk a different route this morning.
Walked 6.3 miles

Coins for the month of June were
1 quarter and 8 pennies for a total of 33 cents.
I've mentioned before that I'm in a walking challenge on a website
where I record my daily steps.
The goal is to walk 15,017 steps a day for a total of 5,481,205 at the end of the year. Now that June is over we have hit the half way mark.
I am in 6th place with a total of 3,088,751 as of last night.
That is NOT just my MORNING walk but the steps I take ALL day long.

🚶 🚶 🚶
Baked the third batch of chocolate chippers for Bible Time which now makes
a total of 15 dozen and I have one more batch to bake for a total of 20 dozen.
I could have made all 20 dozen at one time I suppose and then it would
be done with but then it would have seemed a chore to do.
This way I enjoyed the baking.
I've learned that it is best to bake cookies right after I've eaten
breakfast and I'm not hungry. That way I'm less tempted to eat them.
I've been home all day and it's mostly sunny, a few clouds too and one
quick little shower.
I was outside for some more weeding (filled up a wheelbarrow)
and filled all the bird feeders.
Sat on the porch for a while reading.
Pizza dough is now in the bread machine and it has about a half hour
to go before we can make our pizza. Haven't had homemade pizza
for quite a while and I'm sure looking forward to it.
A happy day to you.

Beautiful views and I enjoyed that Groucho Marx quote. I don't know if I've read that before. I went out walking with a church group this morning and I'm happy to report I'm at 14,393 steps. That's a real good day for me. Hope your weekend goes well!
Nice to get in a different walk, and keep building up those steps!
I can only imagine how much the person in first walks, I know you get a lot of steps
Great idea to bake right after eating...I also love that first shot.
That is an incredible amount of steps. Well done you!!
Hello, lovely views and images. I can imagine your home smells delicious from baking those cookies, yum! Congrats on your steps, 6th place is good to me. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and the new week ahead!
Wow, great job with your steps. I am now inspired to make a better effort on my own daily steps.
Have a wonderful 4th of July.
That's quite a distance to walk. Good for you. You are so good at sticking with it.
Hi Happyone! The last couple of months I've been in a bit of a slow down with my blogging. Stopping by Life is Good today shows me that I've missed a lot here. You just do an excellent job with your blog. I love the header you are using and the opening quotation by Groucho Marx. It is great to see you are still doing your walks and taking all the neat photos! I've got to go read some more and look at older posts to see what you and Ken are up to with the plans for a new house. I must mention the sunrise photo on your June 30th post ... wow, that is just a great photo! Love the way the sun is breaking through the clouds. Thanks, as always, for sharing your blog and for your kind comments on mine. Have a great rest of the week and say HI to Ken. Now I am wondering if he has new videos out ... will have to go check. Take care!
That is a great goal for steps in a year, and you have an amazing amount at the halfway point. Wow! I walk a lot (work interferes) but no where as much as you. I am closer to just over 2 million steps halfway through the year.
Fourteen? < *thud* > How embarrassing to be that far off.
Congrats on all those amazing steps! I'd not want to guess how few I'd have.
