Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another Day 😊

🐝     🐝
65 degrees this morning and sunny when I walked.
Walked through town, down toward Happy Trails,
and a ways up Barn Sale.
The grass in the pasture that these cattle are in is so tall they can hide in it
and can eat without putting their heads down.
Walked around the two cemeteries and the ball park loop too.
There are actually two horses in the picture.  One is in front of the other.
Both Kathy and Rebeca were out walking this morning too.

Walked 6 miles

The ceiling fan in our bedroom conked out and we replaced it with
a new one this morning so it will be nice and cool sleeping tonight.

The bowling alley opens for the summer at 3:00 so that is our new
bowling time.  Haven't been bowling for a couple of weeks and was nice
to get back to it.  My scores today were 122, 125, & 142.

After bowling we all went to Denny's for supper.
I got the Bourbon Chicken Skillet and it was surprising delicious.

From there we went to Walmart to do food shopping.
I planned out our meals for the week and made a shopping list this morning.
Found two new recipes in the Taste of Home magazine that I am looking
forward to trying.  I'll be using some fresh asparagus out of my garden
tomorrow for one of them.
All groceries put away and now it is time to sit and enjoy
some ice cream.

That's been my day.
They sure do go by fast.
A happy day to you.

BettyC - Since our land is all trees, we will have to clear some land if we want a garden.  There should be enough sun around the house for some flowers.   We plan on having NO lawn at all.

Oh, you made me think...I picked up some Klondike Bars...heath on the outside. that sounds good.

If you had not told, I don't think I would have noticed there were two horses. Even when expanded, it is not noticeable unless you are looking for it.

Pretty pictures from you walk.
How nice it will be to add your home grown asparagus to dinner.

Lovely walk photos! The cows look very content feeding there. I used to go to Denny's for breakfast occasionally. Haven't been there in ages. Have a great day.

Hello, the days do go by quickly, especially when you keep busy! The bowling is fun and your dinner sounds delicious. Love the cow peeping out from the bush and the horses. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!

Beautiful country scenes...love seeing the horses and cows. We h ave a couple of ceiling fans to replace...they are already sitting in a closet, still in the boxes. One of the old ones still works but there are two in the room and we wanted them both to match. The other is in the guest room. Neither one fit into the category of 'emergency'...they will get replaced one day before we put the house up for sale! :D
