Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A Hymn for Sunday

We sang this hymn at church this morning.
One of my many favorites.

Only The Blood
~ Brett Bedwell

When Jesus died for me
On the cross of Calvary,
It was sin that put Him there;
Not His sin but mine.
Sin binds and sin holds,
It condemns our common souls,
Only Jesus has control of freedom and life.

Far from the narrow way,
My lost soul had gone astray,
Jesus took my guilt away;
The sin and the shame.
Complete in Him I stand,
Led by His loving hand,
Now I know and understand the life in His name.

Refrain
Only the blood,
the precious blood of Jesus,
Only His perfect blood can wash our sin away.
Only the blood,
the precious blood of Jesus,
Only His perfect blood can cleanse and can save.

I John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

A Blessed Sunday to you.
Jesus Love YOU 💗
