The third morning in a row that it was 49 degrees and sunny when I walked.
Again it warmed up nicely to give us temperatures in the 60's all day.
Can't beat these beautiful spring days.
Walked the Farm Loop. This picture is just after I turn off the main road.
The only person I saw was Farmer Georg out on his tractor.
The llamas were out in the pasture by the road at Farmer Bill's farm
and the milk cows at the dairy farm were out in the far pasture.
The pasture by the road had a few bulls in it.
Once I was back to town, walked around one of the cemeteries
and the ball park loop.
I saw the day care center in town decided to get some chickens again.
Those of you who have been reading my blog for a few years might
remember me talking about 'lone chicken' who used to live here.
It is a blessing to be out taking a walk on these beautiful mornings.
Walked 6.2 miles

Since I've been outside for the past couple of days, I thought I'd better
stay in a bit today and get some inside work done. That lasted just an hour
before I was back outside.
I got yet more weeding done. Getting a bit tired of it by now but still
rather weed then house clean and it is so nice to be outside in the sun.
I was sitting on the porch reading when Ken came home with a very dirty ATV.
Ken had a fun time with the guys the past few days and
I've been listening to quite a few ATV stories. 😊
I'm glad he had a good time and I enjoyed my time alone too, but it
sure is nice to have him back home again.

"People are like stained-glass windows.
They sparkle and shine when the sun is out,
but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed
only if there is light from within."

Comment Replies:Adam - Thanks, it sure is fun to drive. I got it new in 2002 (C5).
Ruta - How know how Peter feels. I longed for a Corvette since I was a kid. When I look at it I still can't believe it is my car, even after 15 years.
Christine - Here's the story how Accident got its name.
In 1750 King George II of England paid off a debt to George Deakins by giving him 600 acres of land in western Maryland. Mr. Deakins sent out two parties of engineers – each without knowledge of the other – to find and survey the best land in that section of Maryland. When the engineers returned, they discovered, much to their surprise, that they had each marked the same oak tree as a starting point and then marked off the same 600 acres. Mr. Deakins considered it safe to choose this land and had it patented as “The Accident Tract.”
I think it was more of a Coincidence and would have named it that. : )
Melanie - No, sorry to say that there will be no room for Ken to have a train layout of that size.
Patti - Didn't see any residents but just passed by and didn't linger to see.

Well by the looks of that ATV he must have had a lot of fun! It's good when they come home safe and sound. Enjoy your Sunday.
You've had perfect walking weather!
I'm glad Ken is home safe and sound. Now he can serve the ice cream!
Weeding seems to be a never ending job.The flowers basket at your window is lovely.
Hello, I always enjoy reading about your day and seeing the photos. Your flowers are lovely. So glad your Ken home safe and sounds and he had a great time. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and the new week ahead!
That's nice that Ken had a great time, and it's nice that he's back home safe and sound.
I feel the same way about my husband.. the two of us together is better than either one of us apart :)
Have a great Sunday.

I see the ATV has a caged "roof" I guess that makes is safer incase of a flip. That's one reason I'd never ride one
I always enjoy your posts...I need to start posting regularly on my other blog but just cannot sometimes.
Glad your hubby is home safely. That basket of flowers is just gorgeous!
A lovely selection of photographs, your hanging basket looks pretty.
Glad Ken had a good few days.
All the best Jan
