Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Measuring Spoons

One more snowy scene from yesterday.
⛄     ⛄     ⛄
It has turned cold so all the snow is still around and this morning we were
getting a little more.
It was 12 degrees and windy and the snow is covering icy patches
so I thought it best not to go for my morning walk
and get my steps inside today.
⛄     ⛄     ⛄
We took a ride down to LaVale and returned the Fitbit.  😊
10 degrees warmer down in LaVale and no snow!!

While we were there we stopped in an antique shop that we
have been to a few times before to look around.
They have quite a lot of crafty and country things too.
I saw these cute measuring spoons and to buy.
I seem to have started a collection of measuring spoons.
I'll hang these under the kitchen cabinets like the other two sets.
I picked up these garden flags at another store.  The flags in the garden
from last year are destroyed.  I never did take them inside for the winter.
We picked up a flavor of ice cream that we've never tried before and
I'm looking forward to having it later.
It sounds great if you like chocolate.
Deep Dark Chocolate
The container says:
Robust dark chocolate ice cream with melt-in-your-mouth chocolaty slivers

A happy day to you.

Hi Happyone, Your eye for taking excellent shots out in nature is not affected by weather! Those are some great snow scenes. I really can’t pick a favorite, but if I must, perhaps it is the last one. Trees near and far and the deep blanket of snow … just a great shot! In earlier posts: On Thursday, Love the shot of the geese, tree, and fields beyond. On Wednesday, The Blue Skies. On Tuesday, Sure didn’t know there were 293 ways to make change for a dollar … fascinating! Thanks for sharing your blog!

Love dark chocolate, so I'm thinking I'd really like that ice cream. Such cute measuring spoons. Y'all are having some crazy weather, too... but that snow is so pretty. Hope you have a blessed SONday.

My goodness! You might as well just move to Maine! I never would have thought that Maryland would have weather like this. Stay warm.

Hi Karen, love your first photo, very pretty. Parts of Ontario are to get quite a snowstorm Monday night into Tuesday. We are to get just an inch or so of snow, but we are cold too!
Your new measuring spoons are so sweet!
Hope you enjoyed your ice cream.

Delicious sounding ice cream! Pretty snowy scene. My son's did not get their predicted snow - only flurries. Cute measuring spoons. I love roaming around antique stores! Have a wonderful Sunday.

Your measuring spoons are adorable, Karen! Our snow is almost all gone now when it comes to the grass, but it seems to be holding on to the trees. Preparing for the next big snow coming our way. :)

I like your flags...especially the one with the cows. It brings back memories of my days being raised on a dairy farm.

Oh my, your snowy pictures put my little snow flurries pictures to shame. :) It is so beautiful there! I have a weakness for measuring spoons too and have several sets in a little pitcher. None as pretty as those though.

You have had some weather extremes this year! At least we haven't had to deal with snow, just warm a few days, cold a few days, repeat. Cute measuring spoons!

I just love those cute measuring spoons and the ice cream sounds delicious - if it's chocolate, count me in!

Those are really cute measuring spoons! I've never seen anything made by Mason before, except canning jars. That's a fun collection to start!
