Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Barn Collective

The weeks sure go by fast.  Monday again and I'm linking up with Tom for the
 Barn Collective series.
Picture taken last week when we had some spring like days.
The barn was built about 3 years ago.
This barn through the trees was taken yesterday afternoon on my walk.
🍀     🍀     🍀
Woke up late this morning.  Getting used to the time change.
It was only in the teens so I decided to walk later in the morning when
it warmed up a bit.  When I walked it was 22 degrees.

Walked up the hills behind my house and then just walked around town.
I mention that I see Lisa running some days.  She lives up behind me in
in this beautiful big house.
And these are her horses, Flicka and Patriot.
Kathy was out walking later this morning too and that is the reason I
haven't seen in such a long time, she now always walks later.

Didn't walk around the cemeteries because there is still snow there
and I just had my regular walking shoes on.
It was so nice walking on a sunny day.

Walked 6.4 miles
Found a penny
🍀     🍀     🍀
Ken and I both went to the library.  I picked up two books that were on
hold for me and Ken got a book out too.

Finished the latest puzzle.  It was a bit hard with so much the same color
but it was fun to do and I really like the picture.
Oh by the way, that new flavor of chocolate ice cream is so good.
I've some every day and will again tonight.  😊

A happy day to you.

...I love your barn with the rosy glow. This morning the sky was as pink as could be, snow is in the forecast. Thanks so much for being here today. Keep on walking and take a shot of a barn or two.

That first barn sure has a lot to it..like it has sub-barns! There is sure a lot of room there!

How beautiful is the pinkish coloured sky in your first barn shot! Love the way barns are painted & decorated in the States! Our seem very dull in comparison!

Hi Karen! I love that pink sky!
The puzzle reminds me of a painting my mom has. She said there were similar howling wolf pictures in most homes during the depression. Interesting, huh?

Lovely barn photo's Karen, and the colour of that pink sky is just wonderful.

Glad the puzzle went well.
Also pleased you are enjoying your new flavour of chocolate ice cream.

All the best Jan

Beautiful barn pictures today, Karen. Adjusting to the time change does take some time for me, too. That puzzle is beautiful. I thought it might be, but I am glad it was worth it. :)

You are much faster at the puzzles than I am. i guess it's not a race either.

Hello, love the pink sky, barns and the shot with the horses. The puzzle picture is pretty. Great quote!
Enjoy your day and the week ahead!

Hi Karen, gorgeous photo of the barn! It has been very cold here in the mornings too so we walk just before lunch. Lisa's house is beautiful along with her horses.
Glad you enjoyed your new ice cream.
Take care.

The time change is taking a bit of getting used to for me too. My body clock has me up at 7 am every morning but it's not very light out yet. The puzzle is sure pretty but I can understand all that blue would make it a challenge. Have a great day.

The sky in each of your pictures is so pretty. Lisa has a lovely home and I also like the white birch in the left of that photo. Such a gorgeous tree especially in a snowy scene.
That ice cream does sound yummy!

The time seems to go bye quicker the older we get. You have taken some lovely photos! Have a wonderful week :)

We have been having some beautiful pink skies around here as well....both rising and setting but there aren't very many barns around where I am...I have to get in my car and drive a ways to find them!

That does look like a challenging puzzle. My daughter had an undersea one that seemed to be all blue, too.
