It was surprisingly warm this morning with a temperature of 56 degrees
with a bit of a breeze.
Didn't walk along any of my mapped out routes, just a random walk all over the place.
Strange but pretty looking sky this morning.
The sun looked like it was going to come up and then some big black
clouds came along. After 3 miles I started to feel a few rain drops now and then.
Then nothing. After 5 miles the same thing happened.
The rain finally came about 10 minutes after I'd gotten home.
I've walked around the ball park loop many times and never noticed this
plaque before by the ball field.
Stopped for a few minutes to chat with Kathy.
No animals around that I saw this morning.
Walked 6 miles

Did a little research on that thorny tree from yesterday and pretty sure
it is a Black Locust.
Headed out to church for Baby Blankets day this morning in the rain.
There were 9 of us there today.
A while ago someone (I forget who) had asked how many blankets we've made
and I didn't know. Today I was told that we've made 184 since January.
Here's the one I'm working on now.
My friend Connie stopped by the house today.
She is starting a new counted cross stitch project and had a few
questions about how to get started.
That's it for today.
That's it for today.
A happy day to you.

Great colour in the leaves on the tree you've photographed.
Lovely colours too in the baby blanket ...184 since January is a very, very good number. Well done to you all.
All the best Jan
That sounds like a lot of blankets♥ Love your photos as usual, my friend♥
Hi Karen - that is so awesome that your church has made so many baby blankets! I missed the post where you said what you are doing with them. I love how you are always using your talents to help others and make them happy! I'm glad you got your walk in before the rain began. Have a great Friday tomorrow!
The blanket in progress is very pretty.
Makes you wonder, what's the story behind the plaque?
The latest blanket is so lovely! 184 in the year so far is a great achievement!
I love the quotes at the end of your posts as much as I do your gorgeous photography. Glad you figured out what the thorny tree is. Hope you have a great weekend!
The blanket is beautiful. 184! What an accomplishment for you all. I'm glad you were able to solve the mystery of the thorny bush. Black Locust sounds like an apt name. Have a great day.
That's a lot of blankets
