Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Team Happy

✿     ✿     ✿     ✿

Pretty chilly outside this morning.  Feels more like January than April.  20 degrees and windy.  Sure was nice to see the sun coming up over the mountain.  Felt so nice and warm on my face.  : )
I was by one of the cemeteries when the sun popped over the mountain.

This mornings walk was another one all over and around town.  Thought about going around the Farm Loop but thought the wind would really be cold up that way.

Stopped by the post office and dropped off a card down the mail slot.

No other people out and walking but did see the usual birds and a couple of rabbits.
Stopped by the little pond down by the Drane house and snapped a picture of the geese.  There was some mist low over the water.
Walked 6.3 miles.

Though the sun was out we had some light snow flurries through the morning hours.  Nothing stayed though and though it stayed cold it was sunny.

Tuesday again and you know what that means.  : )  Bowling Day.
Five of us bowling today.
My Scores:  127, 152, 122, 103.

As usual stopped at Walmart for some shopping before coming home.

By the way - Remember me mentioning that it is tract month at church?  Well, I did get on the Happy Team.  : )  Pastor went back and changed me to the happy team instead of the Glad Team.

Hope your day was a happy one and you smiled often.

Brrrr! You are one tough cookie! I'd have had a hard time prying myself out from under the electric blanket! I admire your determination. It looks like your snow didn't hang around long.
