Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Evening Walk

I really did go for that evening walk.  I asked Ken if he wanted to go with me but he declined so I went alone.  Walked along one of the paths.  I left at 7:00 and was back home a couple of minutes after 8:00.

I didn't see any wildlife but did hear lots of birds and two owls talking to each other.

There were quite a few other people out walking along the paths.  A lot more than I see during the morning.

I walked 4 miles.
Pleasant dreams.

I like evening walks. We are going to start walking early, early in the morning though because often it is still up to over 100 degrees at 7 or 8 p.m. Yuck. I don't enjoy that part of living in Arizona. No walk tonight, though because we swam in the pool this afternoon. That was nice. Looks like you had a very good and productive trip and you are almost all moved up to HT. Now you will just have to move everything into your lovely new home! Happy and blessed Sunday to you!

I love evening walks (and morning walks, too). I hope that you had sweet dreams. Art

I really need to split up my walks. Glad you logged some miles today after all.

Somehow, I just knew that you would.

Lovely time for a walk, but did you need bug spray? Evening usually brings out the flying insects, by the droves. Ugh...

You heard two owls talking? I love owls and I have only heard them a handful of times in my life :)
