Just a little farther up the hill I saw these two horses. They both stopped eating to take a look at me. They are pretty far away but I zoomed in on them.
I stayed to watch them and the one on the right walked on over towards me. When he got to the fence he just stood there looking at me. I talked to him a while and then continued on up the hill.
When I got to the top of the hill I was rewarded with this view.
Then I got to walk back down the hill. But there was the hill to walk back up again to get back to the trailer.Besides the horses, I saw some cows, quite a few deer including a mom and baby, chipmunks, a ground hog, red winged black birds, two wild turkeys and some other birds that I've never seen before.
The weather was just like yesterday, sunny, and in the low 70's. A perfect day to spend on our land.
We didn't really do any work today. Ken played around on the tractor clearing some more rocks and trees to make roads and trails. This huge rock he moved over to the side of a trail which I thought would make a nice place to stop and take a rest. I cleared out the weeds and dead fall around it.
We had left over pizza for lunch sitting out on the deck. Ken did a few little jobs that needed done around the place. I got the trailer back to order and cleaned up a bit. Then I did take my book on the deck and sat out there and read.
We really enjoyed our time there. : )
We are back home now and I just finished my ice cream snack. I'm off now to just sit in my chair in the living room and watch a little television before bed.
Hope you all had a great day.
Pleasant dreams.

Time spent in nature is rewarding. No TV or phone or computer! it is restful.
That walk and the friendly horse looks like fun, and doing a bit of work on your land and trailer.
Looks like a great and relaxing weekend. You two need that every once in awhile.
That was a great walk you took. All we have around here is HILLS... SO--walking up and down the hills is never as easy as walking on flat ground...
Have a blessed Sunday.
Hugs,
Betsy
The scenery around your trailer is spectacular!
The shot of the horses is perfect.
Sounds like a perfect day. Enjoy your Sunday!
So nice to see you have found new places to walk from your trailer, it looks beautiful there. And the deck / terrace from your trailer looks so cozy. Enjoy ❤
It says a lot when you say that you enjoyed your time there. I'm sure that it is getting better and better all the time. What a beautiful place for walking. Those hills are probably worth twice the distance. Put a sugar cube in your pocket or a carrot stick so you can feed the horse next time. You'll have a friend for life!
Your place is the perfect get away for both of you where you can leave the fast lane behind and become a part of nature. I think the horses were welcoming you to the neighborhood. I'm sure you'll stop and see them again, especially with carrots. Happy Sunday and Happy Father's Day to Ken.
What a lovely spot you have found for yourselves and with beautiful walks around as well. It's all hills here too but that makes walking more interesting. I liked the friendly horses but can I suggest you don't take them any treats because that can make them bite the next person who comes empty handed. One of my neighbour's ponies is due to foal soon and I look forward to having my fingers eagerly sucked (until the teeth come through when it becomes painful).
I'm amazed at all the different
wildlife you saw on your walk. You aren't afraid of anything, are you? When that horse started walking toward me, I would have been looking for a tree to climb!
The countryside is just beautiful. Thanks for sharing the view with us.
Sounds like you had a lovely weekend, I love the horse and the view. And pizza is my favorite, YUM! Have a great evening.
What a great walk - not too keen of the uphill but the view looked amazing. You sound to be really enjoying time on your land.
