Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

More of my day

This afternoon I turned this brown bunch of bananas

into this delicious loaf of banana bread.

I spent too much time on the computer today and didn't get all the things done that I wanted too.  But that is why we have tomorrow!

This evening was my last night of the women's Bible study, Breaking Free by Beth Moore, that I've been going to for the last few months.  Actually we finished up last week and tonight we just discussed what we got out of it and had a little get together.

Now I'm home and ready for a little snack.  We will finish up the rest of the watermelon.

Enjoy the rest of your evening and hope you have pleasant dreams.
Happyone :-)

I do love banana bread - I especially love it with walnuts or pecans, but my hubby doesn't like nuts at all! I also like a little cream cheese on it! Yummmy! Watermelon is one of the things I love best about summer!

Oh, that banana bread looks scrumptious. I am always amazed at how such ugly bananas can be turned into something so delicious. Like magic:).

WOW..... i never had banana bread before... and i was wondering as to wat the banana pic was all about in the beginning,.... didnt know that they could be something like this... i think i shud give it a try..... sometime,.... as for the picture problem that u mentioned Karen... i think the new editor does not permit you to drag about but you can certainly keep the pictures in between text as you wish to... you can keep the cursor where u wish to place the picture and then insert the picture as you did before... Try it and let me know :-)

Thank you Ratz!!! :-) That was it. I knew it would be something simple like that and it is so frustrating when you just can't figure it out. Thanks Again!!
