They have been renovating and adding on to the elementary school for way over a year now. Doesn't look like they will be done before school starts this year either. There are a whole bunch of trailers that they are using for class rooms until the project is competed.
I only saw a couple of people out this morning but I did see deer and rabbits and lots of birds and squirrels. One of the squirrels only had about a quarter of his tail!

Knitting day came around again so off I went to meet my knitting friends. Since it was pretty hot outside it was decided to move inside and we met at Savage Mill this week. Of course the air conditioner was on and I was cold!!
I stopped at the library on the way home. I thought I'd get the audio book of the next cat book in the series but it wasn't on the shelf like it was supposed to be. I'm just going to put that on reserve too and let them find it for me. I was proud of myself that I didn't leave the library with more books - not even the one that is ready for me to pick up. They will hold it for me until Saturday.
Was at home this afternoon doing a little of this and a little of that.
I know we just ate out for supper yesterday but I am really in the mood for pizza so as soon as Ken gets home from work off to get pizza we go. He just called and said he was leaving work now.
I hope your Tuesday was a good one so far.

I meant to get out this morning for a walk before knitting but managed to sleep until 9:00 am. That is so unusual for me. So no walk until tonight and then the treadmill for me.
We went out for pizza last night and it was so nice to be away from home. We also had a small chef's salad to accompany our pizza. Then tonight for supper we ate our leftovers. Can't beat that.
Odd that you mention the squirrel with so much of his tail missing. We just saw a seagull on one leg. He's hopping all over like crazy. I've actually seen him before and I don't imagine that there are that many one-legged seagulls.
I've got to get going on two library books. One I like so well that I don't want it to end and the other was so depressing that I'm not going to finish it. Dysfunctional just doesn't make for good reading.
Just finished LOWCOUNTRY SUMMER by Dorothea Benton Frank. I love the Charleston area and it's always a treat to live there for a while -- even if it's inside a book!
That poor squirrel. Wonder what happened to his tail?
I love your quote today. I see myself in both of those ~ it just depends upon the day :).
Just catching up with your blog...I haven't been blogging much lately but will try and catch up now!
