This sidewalk leads from the back of the shopping center across the street from where I live to the front of it. I usually start my walk walking down this sidewalk.Another photo here on the way back of the same deer. This photo is zoomed in a bit. That's why its a bit grainy.

Talked on the phone to my Mom this morning. We email a lot but its nice to hear her voice once in a while. :-)
Went to Walmart because someone told me the yarn I buy on the cone was for sale for $2.50 (regular $6.97). Only one color was for sale for $3 and since I asked about the other colors they gave me another color for $5. I only bought one of each because I have a lot of this yarn in reserve or as knitters call it "my stash."
Did a bit of reading early afternoon after lunch and then at later on I walked to a friends house a mile away. She is a knitter I met at my knit group and I took her a pair of needles that she wanted to borrow. I was supposed to meet her at 3 but she wasn't home when I got there. I left the needles by her door. She called me later to apologize for not being there - she got tied up at work. Well, it was a nice afternoon for an extra walk. I saw another deer on the way home too.
Kenny picked me up and went to Five Guys for supper. I know those French fries are not good for me but I love them. They are the best fries ever!!
I hope your Friday brought you a bit of happiness.

This has been a wonderful Friday for me! Sounds like a very nice one for you too! And I LOVE your Dickens quote!!
What a beautiful deer!
I think with all the walking you do the french fries won't be too bad. Have a nice weekend.
It sounds as if you had a great Friday. I hope your weekend is equally wonderful.
You sure did walk off the fies. The pictures are so pretty like always. You live in the perfect spot.
Nice sized buck!
Wow, great picture of that deer. I agree with the other commenter regarding the french fries and your walking. No need for guilt:)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Lovely deer. The early mornings in your part of the world must be wonderful, especially to see the changes during the seasons.
Thanks for visiting me on Scotland for the Senses!
I remember when Five Guys was just a little hole in the wall with takeout only. It was located not far from my headquarters bldg in Arlington. Many times I waited in line for a burger & fries to take back to my hotel room so I wouldn't have to go out for dinner. Now they have several locations one of which is less than 2 miles from my house. Those ARE the best fries on the face of this earth!
This sure looks like it was a gorgeous day, and how lucky you were to get two great photos of that deer!
