The latest book I've finished reading is Miss Julia's School of Beauty by Ann B. Ross.
An entertaining light reading book about a local beauty pageant, a marriage that isn't and jumping to conclusions. Not a great book and a bit on the silly side but it was okay.
Both yesterday and today were more beautiful mornings for walking. Nice crisp cool mornings with lots of sunshine with a temperature of 50 degrees. Today I saw a fox!
Heard some good news about our new townhouse yesterday. Two more units in our row have been sold which means they will be starting to build our row any time now. How exciting!! It will be fun to watch it being built. I'll be taking lots of pictures!!!!
I had a nice day at home this Saturday. I got some computer work done, started knitting another square on the white sampler afghan, started reading another book from the library and spent a couple of hours outside working in the yard. Such a beautiful day for it. I got the rest of the sunflowers all pulled up and now it looks kind of sad with them all gone. I wonder what the people who buy this old house will plant there next year. I'll have to take a ride by and see. I also pulled up some more dead flowers, cut others down and did a little raking.
Even though I just started another book I went to the library and got the latest Stephanie Plum book and also got a couple of DVD's. I'm looking forward to watching one of the DVD's and having a few of those Welsh Cookies that I made the other day.

I meant to write that I saw a fox run across the road on my walk yesterday. I was amazed! And how amazing to read that you saw one too!
I am so glad to hear someone else describe a "Miss Julia" book this way. I will never read another. (I can't even remember the one I did read.) There are too many great books to read in this world without reading "silly." Just my opinion of course.
Yay! That's for the townhouse almost ready to go up. :D
