Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

๐Ÿฅพ ๐Ÿงถ ๐Ÿ“•

38 degrees and cloudy this morning for walking.
Just a little breeze and sunrise was 6:52.
Started my walk walking down the road I just drove up.
Turned around and went back to town.

Down the road through town.

Turned here at the industrial park,

Around in there are finally back to the pond.
Rebecca was out too this morning.

Ken is creating a Christmas winter scene to fit on the hutch
for a holiday decoration.
I collected these pieces of twigs for him as I walked along for him
to use to make trees.

Stitching morning at the library so that is where I spent the morning.
7 of us their today.๐Ÿงถ
Debbie created this for us.
We loved it❤️

The library was giving away books and each person could take
five of them.
(the books have been for sale a long time so they decided to just give them away)
I came home with these five.

I also came home with a new blanket pattern
that Mikey gave me.
Thought about using the yarn from yesterday but I think
the pattern would look better in one color.

The day ended up being a rainy drizzly day
but enjoyed the day puttering about the house.
Still waiting for that first snow fall so we can start a puzzle.
Even a light dusting will count.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hope you had a wonderful Saturday.

NanaDiana - You can find every question I could think of about my walk under the header page at the tab named WALKING FAQ.

Deb - Yes, still make blankets for the babies and seniors.  The last month I learned how to make the tied fleece ones that all the other ladies make.  It was fun and fast so I'll be making the fleece ones now too. You can see the one I made last month HERE.

Mari - Not sure what I'll make with the new yarn but it will probably be a blanket.  That's my favorite thing to knit.
