Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

This mornings walk was under a sky of sun and clouds.
It was 46 degrees and sunrise was 6:51.

Walked both cemeteries and then stopped at the Jeep
to pick up a book and dropped it down the book slot at the library.

From there walked around town and then to the ball park,
around there and back to the pond.

Interesting looking clouds this morning.

Kitkat stopped to get a drink out of the puddle.

Tonya, our letter carrier retired a couple months ago
and I haven't met the new one yet but I see her
on the way to the post office each morning.
She drives an orange pick up truck.
She has started waving to me but I bet she has no idea where I live.
One of these days I'll walk down to our mailbox when she is
here and introduce myself to her.

Didn't see anyone else walking about this morning.

😊    🐕    🥾    🌤

We had breakfast, I got a load of laundry hung out on the line
and then we drove down to Walmart and did our shopping.
Unusual for us to go on a Friday!
Always think there will be more people there on Friday
but it wasn't the case.
I looked at the yarn while there and found some
Premier Bloom Chunky so bought a few skeins of it.

On the way home we stopped at the library.
Ken had some DVD's on hold and I picked up the next
book (4) in the series I'm reading.

I always enjoy putting all the groceries away and then we had lunch.

Did a couple of things around the house and then read.
Friday once again and time for pizza.
Dough is rising right now.

Hope you had a wonderful Friday.
Thanks for stopping by.
HappyK🙂❤️
