Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

My African Violet

34 degrees this morning and clear when I walked.
No wind and sunrise was at 7:33
Once again when the sun came up the day was sunny and bright.

Walked all around town.
Then back down the road towards home, turned around and headed
back to town.
Before getting to town I turned up Sale Barn Road.

Back down the road to town and the end of this mornings walk.
The sun was just coming over the mountain as I was leaving.

Went to Walmart for food shopping right after breakfast.
As usual saw someone we know from church.
Happens most every time we go.

There is a mural on the wall as soon as you go into Walmart.
It's been there for at least a week.

After lunch I tackled giving the dining room a good and thorough dusting.
When the hutch was dusted I put some of my
red and yellow Fiesta Ware on it for a change.
Nice colors for Fall.

I continue to be amazed at how my African Violets are growing.
This is one of the ones I transplanted.
It has never stopped blooming.

Some of the leaves are as big as my hand.

Lena asked me if I had a simple blanket pattern that I would share with her.
So I started knitting another blanket so she could see the pattern.
I'll show it to her Saturday and if she likes it will give her the pattern.

I'll put this blanket aside and knit it once I have finished a couple
other knitting projects I have going.

That's all I've got for today.
Hope you had a wonderful Wednesday.
Thanks so much for coming by.

I really like that mural.
Your african violet is huge. I've never seen leaves that size on one before.

That mural in Walmart looks so summery and cheerful. And your African Violet also looks cheery; so full of flowers!!
Re your comment on my blog...No doubt all the problems with my hip have dragged on and on and prevented me from many of the things I enjoy...like walking!!!
