Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Photo-a-day Challenge with ChrissyT
Day 23
An Ordinary Moment
Sitting on the front porch reading

A nice 52 degrees this morning when I walked.
A mix of sun and clouds and just a slight breeze.
Sweat shirt weather and wonderful walking weather.

Went around both of the cemeteries a few times.

Then over to the ball park and walked that loop a couple of times.
Through town and up and down the side streets
and then back to the pond.

Rebecca was out walking and
Farmer Marvin stopped to say hi as he drove by up to the long barn.

So nice to see a bright blue sky again.

It was a Fingerprint Ministry work day at church.
Hard to believe that another month has gone by.
Seems like we just had Fingerprints!!
So we spent the day doing that.
Not that great of a turnout.
Busy time of year for everyone.
But those of us working had a good time and got work done too.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you had a wonderful Thursday.

A lovely view from your porch.
I love the cemetery shot too with the rising mist.

I love the cemetery shot with the low mist on the mountain. Pretty flowers...Petunias?
