Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Day 14 of the July photo challenge

 July Photo-a-day Challenge with ChrissyT
Day 14

Playing Jacks On the Floor

A delightful morning for walking.
63 degrees and sunny
Sunrise 6:01

Began my walk going around both of the cemeteries.
Then through town to the ball park and around that loop a couple of times.
Continued all around town till I had all my steps and then headed
back to the pond.

This farm pond is down in back of the Drane house.

I usually end my walk here over looking the pond.
Always so peaceful.

Shelia was out doing her laps around town.
Saw Carrie walking and also Anna and her Dad Mark.

As I got home from walking I was greeted by my neighbor cows.
They had escaped again. ๐Ÿ™‚

Ken said they had been all around the house a little earlier.
They eventually found their way back home like they always do.

We didn't need all that much this week so we just went to
the Shop and Save this morning to pick up a few items.
Nice not to have to make the Walmart trip this week.

Got a bit of house cleaning done this morning.

Did a little reading and also got some knitting done.
Still working on the basket weave baby blanket.

That's all for today.
Hope you had a wonderful Tuesday and
thanks so much for stopping by.

Plenty of people miss their share of happiness,
not because they never found it,
but because they didn't stop to enjoy it.

The cows may keep your grass clipped. But, they may also mess things up and eat your flowers. I know cattle!
I always dread trips to Wal-Mart, so try to shop for two weeks.
