Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Challenge Day 10

Joining CrissyT for the July Photo-a-Day challenge
Day 10
Busy

Ken is busy at his work bench in the garage.

A cloudy morning walk today with just a little breeze.
The temperature was 68 degrees.
Sunrise 5:58

Started out walking around both of the cemeteries a couple of times.
The corn is now as tall as I am.
(5'5")

Walked down to the barn by the Drane house.
No bulls out in the barnyard today.

Next I walked to and around the ball park loop a couple of times.

Continued all around town, up and down the side streets
till I had all my steps in.

Lots of activity at the church in town.
They are setting up for their annual rummage sale.
They used to put prices on everything.
Now you just take what you want and make a donation.
Since they have been taking donations they make
double the money!!

Saw John walking Prim but they were too far away to
talk to so we just waved.

Finished up the little bit of house cleaning for this week.
Then we went out and did a few errands.
One was to go to the library.
I had three books to pick up that were on reserve.

We had some rain today but some sun too.
It stayed on the cool side all day.

That's all for today.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hope you had a wonderful day.

That is so interesting about the church making double the money with this new method of selling. That corn is thriving! Happy end of the day to you!

The corn sure is growing tall and fast. The barn photo is nice. We have a similar big red barn very near our house.

That donation trick for the church rummage sale is absolutely brilliant, it is so wild how people are actually way more generous when you let them choose the price.

Good decision by the church to let people donate instead of having prices. Great picture of Ken working and being busy.

Ken's wall is very organized with his tools.
That's a good idea for the rummage sale. I would be more inclined to spend money if I didn't have to look at price tags.

Hello,
Great photo of Ken busy at work. The corn here seems to grow fast.
I have read all the Krueger's books, I have the latest one on hold , when it is released. Have a great weekend.

Hello! I enjoyed seeing Ken at work! And your walking photos, of course. It was unbearably hot and humid this morning, and so I decided to clean my bedroom and bathroom instead of walk outside! Have a nice weekend, my friend.

It was 60F and lightly raining when we walked earlier. Now, at 11 o'clock the sun is trying to shine. It's going to be a lovely afternoon.
I like your picture illustrating Busy.
