Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunday

 Happy Sunday
Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's.

Proverbs 23:24
The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice:
and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.

Ephesians 6:4

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath:
but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Proverbs 20:7

The just man walketh in his integrity:
his children are blessed after him.

A Father's Footsteps

A father's love is steady,
Not always loud or seen.
It's found within the little things,
the spaces in between.

It's early morning sacrifice,
Long day and quiet prayer,
Strong hands that carry heavy loads.
A heart that's always there.

A righteous man walks faithfully,
Though roads are often steep,
Planting seeds of honesty
His children one day reap.

His words become a compass,
His life becomes the way,
A living testimony
Long after yesterday.

Not perfect, but still willing
To lead with truth and grace,
Reflecting strength and gentleness,
In every worn-out place.

And generations rise behind
The path his feet once trod,
Because a faithful father
First learned to walk with God.

A Blessed Sunday to you.

You did some good research for Father's Day bible verses. Your reflection photo is so pretty; it looks like the clouds are in the pond!
