Happy Sunday

A hymn we sang at church this morning.
🎶 I Sing The Mighty Power Of God 🎶
Isaac Watts
1. I sing the mighty power of God
that made the mountains rise,
that spread the flowing seas abroad
and built the lofty skies.
I sing the wisdom that ordained
the sun to rule the day;
the moon shines full at his command,
and all the stars obey.
2. I sing the goodness of the Lord
that filled the earth with food;
he formed the creatures with his word
and then pronounced them good.
Lord, how your wonders are displayed,
where'er we turn our eyes,
if we survey the ground we tread
or gaze upon the skies.
3. There's not a plant or flower below
but makes your glories known,
and clouds arise and tempests blow
by order from your throne;
while all that borrows life from you
is ever in your care,
and everywhere that we can be,
you, God, are present there.
✟ Luke 9:43a ✟
And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God.
A Blessed Sunday to you.

Two very nice photographs ...
Thank you for sharing that hymn.
Happy Sunday Wishes.
All the best Jan
Dear Karen, your photos are beautiful and I appreciate you sharing the hymn and Scripture verse as well.
Oh, what a beautiful hymn. The Psalm you shared today was one of my first memory verses I memorized as a young Christian. I was in my 20's. I was at a Christian mom conference for the first time and went into the bathroom super early. I was sharing a hotel room with others. I did my morning prayer and read this Psalm. That verse stuck out to me, and I have held it dear to my heart ever since.
Happy Sunday Karen. Such a good hymn to be reminded of.
I love the hay!
...you seem to have an endless supply of beautiful scenery to enjoy!
happy sunday to you as well, you have a wonderful view...the horses and the landscape, so pretty!!
This hymn says what we Christians know, it is God who creates all this beauty. Another hymn says "Have you seen Jesus my Lord? He's here in plain view, take a look, open your eyes ..."
