Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Back to a morning walk

Good News, David got the job and he starts Monday.
Thanks so much for your prayers.

Another sky shot from yesterdays afternoon walk.

Nice to be back to my morning walk.
This morning it was 61 degrees, no wind, and cloudy.
On the way to town I saw a raccoon and three deer
down the road from my house.

Started walking going down the main street in town

and over to the industrial park and walked all around in there.

 Pallet anyone?

From here I walked back through town and up and around the
one cemetery.

This looks like Queen Anne's Lace but seems too early for that so maybe
it is Cow Parsley?  Not sure.

I did see one person walking but they were too far away
for me to tell who it was.

At the end of my walk the clouds started making room for some blue sky.

On the way home I saw another deer just down from my house.
It was just standing on the side of the road.
I stopped because I thought it might dart out in front of me.
It looked at me and then took her time crossing the street
as if to say thanks for stopping and letting me cross the street.

Got the few lingering house chores done for the week in the morning.

I went outside this afternoon and did some more weeding.
Trying to go out each day for an hour or so to fill up a bucket of weeds.
Things get so overgrown around here during the summer so
I'm trying to keep up this year but after
a while I'll probably just give up like I do other years. ๐Ÿ™‚

The wind picked up again during the day but nothing like yesterday.

Pizza dough is just about done rising and Ken will be making the pizza.
Sure looking forward to supper.

Hope you had a wonderful day.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hello! Praise the Lord he got the job! How wonderful.
I giggled about what you said about weeds. I do the same thing and have good intentions but I give up too.

I asked AI what this flower is. They said Queen Anne's Lace. But I doubt it, it does not have some of the same features.

Yaaayyy! I am so happy that David is starting his new job. Now I hope it turns out to be a good environment with kind colleagues. Wishing him all the very best! It sounds so wonderful to step outside and see deer during your walk. For now, I can only read about it, but somehow it feels as though I am there with you. And that is beautiful too.
